The online seminar on The Management of Periprosthetic Joint Infection (PJI) provides the most recent information about successful management of prosthetic joint infections. An interdisciplinary team of world’s leading experts will share with you their longstanding experience and practical approach about prevention, diagnosis and combined surgical and antibiotic treatment. The seminar is a mix of lectures by world leading expert scientists in the domain and case discussion.

Goal

To review, update and advance the theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of periprosthetic joint infections, with focus on infections of the locomotory apparatus.

Target Audience

Attending physicians (Oberarzt, Leitender Arzt) or advanced fellows (Assistenzarzt) from the following disciplines: Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Traumotology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Other Surgical Disciplines, Pharmacy, Pathology, Radiology, Basic Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Material Sience). Whenever possible, a complementary team from each institution should attend the workshop, i.e. one from surgical (orthopedic surgery or traumatology) and one from medical field (internal medicine, microbiology, infectious diseases).

Course Fees

300 €. Course fee is not subject to taxation according to § 4 Nr. 22a German tax Act, UStG. Course fee covers workshop, pdf. Pocket Guide on PJI (available in English and German), workshop presentations on the PRO-IMPLANT website and certificate.

Certificate / Credits

A confirmation of attendance (certificate) will be send to you after the online seminar. Online seminars have been submitted for accreditation by Ärztekammer Berlin. For German participants: Before the beginning of the online seminar you will be ask via Email to send your barcode for recognition of your credits by the Ärztekammer Berlin.

Refund and Cancellation

Online seminar registration is not complete until full payment has been received. Successful online seminar registration will be confirmed by e-mail.
Refund Policy
Confirmed participants who do not cancel and do not attend are liable for the entire fee unless organizer is notified in advance.
Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to change the program without prior notice or to cancel the online seminar; in the event of cancellation, a full refund will be provided.
