Current concepts & future challenges
In the online seminar on Management of Fracture-Related Infection (FRI) basic and advanced algorithms for successful bone infection management will be presented, interpreted and critically discussed. The content of Pocket Guides and relevant literature will be reviewed. An interdisciplinary team of world’s leading experts will share their experience and practical tips on modern management of bone infection after trauma and fracture fixation.
The seminar is organized in 4 modules including a mixture of overview lectures, e-learning tools, case presentations, voting and moderated chat discussion.

Target Audience
Attending physicians (Oberarzt, Leitender Arzt) or advanced fellows (Assistenzarzt) from the following disciplines: Orthopaedic Surgery, Traumotology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Pathology, Radiology, Basic Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Material Sience).
Whenever possible, a complementary team from each institution should attend the workshop, i.e. one from surgical (orthopedic surgery or traumatology) and one from medical field (internal medicine, microbiology, infectious diseases).
Course Fees

Course fee is not subject to taxation according to § 4 Nr. 22a German tax Act, UStG.
Course fee covers online seminar, pdf. Pocket Guide on FRI (available in English and German), presentations on the PRO-IMPLANT website and certificate.
Certificate / Credits
A confirmation of attendance (certificate) will be send to you after the online seminar. Online seminars have been submitted for accreditation by Ärztekammer Berlin.
For German participants:
In the beginning of each module of the online seminar you will be asked to write your EFN number in Chat for recognition of your credits by the Ärztekammer Berlin.
Refund and Cancellation

Online seminar registration is not complete until full payment has been received. Successful registration will be confirmed by Email.
Refund Policy
Confirmed participants who do not cancel and do not attend are liable for the entire fee unless organizer is notified in advance.
Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to change the program without prior notice or to cancel the online seminar; in the event of cancellation, a full refund will be provided.
